Transforming learning experiences

I led a transformative three-year partnership with a global tech firm’s L&D department, the team overseeing experiences for 55,000 employees, culminating in the design and strategic development of their AI Learning Academy.

This project enabled my team and me to navigate complex organisational challenges while delivering innovative solutions that blend cutting-edge technology with human-centred design.

The approach

I led a multidisciplinary team that blended rigorous research with creative exploration:

  • Conducted expert interviews with AI practitioners and learning specialists, both within and outside the firm.

  • Deep desk AI-powered research into competitors’ AI learning experiences.

  • Facilitated collaborative workshops to surface insights and align stakeholders.

  • Employed GenAI tools within our process, creating a meta-learning environment.

  • Balanced ambitious innovation with practical implementation considerations.

The outcome

Our seven-week process yielded a strategic framework including vision and mission statements, skills gap analysis, learning design principles, role-mapped objectives, optimised information architecture, and a cohesive component design system.

The magic

Beyond expectations, we finally created an agentic AI experience prototype ready to be tested and demonstrating the future of learning technology. This informed stakeholders ahead of build-vs-buy decisions, accelerating capability development before committing resources to platform investment.
